  • 3–4 fresh sage leaves
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Cook the sausage: Add the Italian sausage to the pan. Use a wooden spoon to break it down into bite-sized pieces. Stir well so it cooks evenly and starts to brown.
