  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise we used Kewpie Mayo
  • Optional Garnish:
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh red chili
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili crisp oil add more or less depending on your desired spiciness level

  • Gather the ingredients: Chop the green onions, garlic, and red chili pepper. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white and set the yolk aside for the sauce.

  • Mix the sauce base: In a large serving bowl, add the seasoning powder from the ramen packet, minced garlic, mayonnaise, and the egg yolk. Stir until well combined. This mixture will become the base of your creamy, flavorful broth.

  • Cook the noodles: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions—usually about 3–4 minutes—until they’re just shy of al dente for a slightly firm texture.
